Taylor Vincent earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University, with a focus on marriage, couples, and family work.
She is dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with themselves by creating a space that fosters safety, reflection, and meaningful change. Her clinical approach is grounded in the belief that the mind and body are adaptive, protective, and inherently wise. Taylor works collaboratively with clients to deepen self-understanding, strengthen emotional regulation, and cultivate greater balance in daily life.
In today’s fast-paced world, Taylor supports clients in slowing down, reconnecting with the present moment, and exploring patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors with curiosity and compassion. She views these patterns as adaptive responses shaped by lived experiences and helps clients develop more aligned and effective ways of relating to themselves and others.
Taylor’s style is warm, relational, and nonjudgmental. She emphasizes the therapeutic relationship, recognizing that safety and trust are essential to lasting change. Her work is trauma-informed and integrates a nervous system–informed perspective. She has completed the Polyvagal Certificate Course, enhancing her ability to help clients understand how physiological responses influence stress, safety, and connection. She values collaboration and incorporates client feedback to ensure therapy remains attuned and effective.
Taylor works with adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and issues related to identity, confidence, and self-esteem. She has a particular interest in high-achieving individuals and perfectionists seeking to move beyond overfunctioning and reconnect with themselves.
Taylor believes clients do not need to have everything figured out to begin therapy; the willingness to engage is a meaningful first step.
