Dr. Sanaz Adibian holds a postdoctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston, where she was an active member of Psi Chi, The International Honor Society in Psychology. She continued her graduate studies at the University of Houston before completing her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) and postdoctoral training at Argosy University.
Dr. Adibian has extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, specializing in bipolar disorder and personality disorders. She takes a holistic approach that integrates both mind and body, emphasizing comprehensive well-being. Her research spans nearly a decade, focusing on the intersections of culture, belief systems, psychology, and linguistics.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Adibian is a professor at Yorkville University. She is the creator of the Cognitive Transcendence Model, a practice framework developed from 30 years of research, which explores advanced cognitive processes and transformative psychological transcendence. She also serves as the Faculty Director of the Society of Cognitive Psychology, an academic organization with over 400 members—founded by her students—who are deeply engaged in the study and application of the Cognitive Transcendence Model.
