Ms. Christian Henry is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and A National Certified Counselor (NCC). She obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce, where she is currently pursuing her doctoral degree. She has worked with children and families for a number of years in the clinical setting. Her theoretical orientation is Adlerian in which she believes that social interactions contribute to an individual overcoming feelings of inferiority. She has experience in working with geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and children. She has conducted both individual and group therapy in which she believes both types of therapy are beneficial in their own way. Christian implements her passion for social justice, multiculturalism, and equality through her leadership roles. Christian presently serves as the Treasurer of Counselors for Social Justice at Texas Counselors Association, and the Founder and President of Texas A&M University-Commerce Counselors for Social Justice.
